FAQ's

I've never taken music lessons before... Where do i start?
Ermis Music Lab offers custom-tailored music lessons for all ages. We offer a Free Trial Lesson for first-time students where you’ll get an introduction, meet your teacher, and discuss musical goals. Book your Free Trial Lesson today.
Do I need my own instrument to start?
It's best to have your own instrument for practicing at home. Before buying, you can try one at our trial lesson. Once you decide to sign up, we'll help you find the perfect first instrument.
What guitar should I buy?
You have various options when it comes to choosing a guitar, such as nylon string, acoustic, or electric, depending on your budget and skill level. We can guide you in finding the right guitar once we meet. For students under 8, a ¾ size guitar is recommended.
Are the lessons conducted in-person or online, and is it possible to combine the two?
You have the flexibility to choose your preferred option: in-person, online, or a hybrid of both. If you're not always in-town or transportation is not always available, hybrid lessons can be a great choice. All you need is an internet connection and an instrument.
I'm running late! What should i do?
Please call us if you are running late. Lesson time will not be extended if tardy. A lesson will be considered a no-show after 15 minutes of no arrival.
What is your cancellation policy?
Let us know via phone or email at least 24 hours in advance before your lesson. Cancellations submitted by this deadline will not incur a cancellation fee and may be rescheduled for a different time.
What happens if I don't show up for my lesson?
Last-minute cancellations and missed lessons without notice are forfeited, and all costs are due. Three consecutive missed lessons without notice will result in the termination of the course.
What kind of resources do I need for online lessons?
The minimum requirements for online virtual music lessons are an internet-connected device with a camera (iPhone, Laptop, etc) a reliable internet connection, and the free Zoom app or a similar application. Ask your teacher about products we recommend to get the most out of your virtual experience!
How does billing work for recurring lessons?
Tuition is billed monthly and is due on or before the first lesson of each month. Payment is in advance of future lessons in a given month.
Where are you located?
Limassol: 52 Grigori Afxentiou street, 3d Floor, 4003, Limassol, Cyprus (See map)

Nicosia: Lessons in Nicosia also available - Limited spots. Contact for details.
Where do I park?
Free parking spots are available outside the Music Lab building, in front of the Frame-shop and in the northern private parking area. If there's no space, feel free to ask for assistance, and we'll be happy to help.
